AUSTIN, Texas – The foursome of Cierra Runge, Emma Nordin, Kendall Dawson and Erica Laning combined to set the school record in the 800 free relay on day one of the 2019 Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships.
The squad also garnered honorable mention All-America honors with their 12th-place finish.
On top of shattering the 800 free relay record at 6:58.78, Runge's leadoff leg of 1:43.46 also reset the top mark in the 200 free, a record she had already previously set earlier in the season.
