ALBUQUERQUE – A pair of school records fell and several true freshmen pieced together standout performances to power Sun Devil Track and Field at the New Mexico Team Open at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

More than 20 Sun Devils competed across two days of action, as they totaled two titles, eight podium finishes and 25 top-10 marks/times.

Dayton Carlson broke his own Men's 800m Indoor school record, winning on Saturday afternoon in 1:46.98. One day prior, true freshman Taylor Brown set the fastest Women's 600m in team history at 1:30.30. Brown would end up with a pair of runner-up efforts this weekend, placing runner-up in the 800m, as well.
