UTICA– On Thursday afternoon, the United States Box Lacrosse Head Coach Ginny Capicchioni named the inaugural U.S. Women's Box National Team that will compete in the 2024 Women's Championship. Arizona State was well represented on the 23-man roster, as Sun Devil Lacrosse student-athlete Helen Park, and assistant coach Caroline Wakefield both earned a spot on defense.
After nearly one year of training camps and tryouts, Wakefield praised the opportunity to represent team USA, "It's an honor to be apart of the inaugural US Women's box team. Growing up you always dream about representing your country in the sport that you love and the opportunity is a dream come true for me.
