The roots the ASU coaching staff has into southern California have paid off once again as twin brothers Keon and Kejuan Markham of Long Beach Poly have committed to the Sun Devils and plan on making that official on Dec. 19, the early signing date for football players.
The two helped the Jackrabbits to an 8-3 showing the past season. ASU linebackers coach Antonio Pierce had been the head coach at Long Beach Poly until following Herm Edwards to ASU the past season, so he coached the players their first three years of high school.
That was a big part of the brothers' decision.
