PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wisc. — Sun Devil Triathlon has qualified for the National Championship following a dominant performance at the Pleasant Prairie National Qualifier on Saturday morning. In their first race of the season, the Sun Devils swept the podium, with five finishing in the top-seven.
Two-time national champion Hannah Henry led the way for ASU, finishing with a time of 1:00:15.0, just four seconds ahead of teammate Kyla Roy. Coming in third was Liberty Ricca who recorded a time of 1:01:15.6.
"It's incredibly good to be back racing, especially since we missed our season last year due to COVID-19.
