Track & Field Putting Pieces Together at Midpoint

LINCOLN, Neb. – For the second-straight day at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, redshirt junior Maggie Ewen and junior sprinter Drelan Bramwell stamped their names atop the results on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Once again, Ewen picked up another first-place finish in the throws with the top mark in the women's shot put at 17.25m (56-07.25). While it was not her personal best or season best, the All-American still holds the 3rd-best mark in the country to date and top in the MPSF.

"On the women's side, Maggie is clearly the star of the team," said head coach Greg Kraft.
