Defending tournament champion Arizona State had what might look like a tough day Monday in the first round of the 11th annual Cabo Collegiate held this year at TPC San Antonio.
Actually, it was a very solid day.
TPC San Antonio's Oaks Course, one of the toughest on the PGA TOUR, was hard to score on a cold, windy day led to just one of the 16 teams being under par.
The Sun Devils are tied for seventh in the loaded 16-team field with a 17-over 301. Only Oklahoma broke par (1-under 287), as Mason Andersen led the maroon and gold with a 2-over 74 that included an eagle and three birdies.
