Brandon Williams, one of the nation's top high school point guards, tweeted Monday that he is visiting Arizona State on an unofficial visit.
Williams previously was committed to Arizona but opened his recruiting options in the wake of the FBI investigation that has clouded the program's future. He attends Crespi High in Encino, Calif.
Depending on the recruiting service, the 6-2 Williams is ranked as a four- or five-star prospect. According to 247 Sports' composite rankings, he is the nation's No. 7 point guard and the country's 31st overall prospect.
Williams reportedly still is considering Arizona.
