TEMPE, Ariz. -- Three members of the Arizona State Cross Country program earned Pac-12 All-Academic First-Team Honors, the conference announced Monday. An additional five Sun Devils were awarded honorable mention.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Senior CJ Albertson, redshirt junior Cody Brazeal and redshirt sophomore John Reniewicki all maintain above a 3.75 GPA for first-team honors, becoming the second-straight season each were named to the first-team list.
Albertson, who has now earned first-team honors in all three eligible seasons, graduated with his bachelor's degree in exercise and wellness in the fall of 2015.
