TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State wrestling’s Oliver Pierce, Jacen Petersen, and Anthony Valencia are set to compete at the Last Chance Olympic Trials Qualifier, April 1-3 at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Petersen and Pierce are set to compete in Friday’s Greco-Roman qualifier, while Valencia will compete in Saturday’s Freestyle qualifier. The meet will be streamed via FloWrestling.
Only the champion in each weight class will advance to the 2016 USA Wrestling Olympic Trials, which are set for April 9-10 at the University of Iowa’s Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.
Four wrestlers with Sun Devil ties have already qualified for the upcoming trials: alumna Kelsey Campbell, volunteer coach Jordan Oliver, current Sun Devil Arian Carpio, and alum Kevin Radford.
