PHOENIX – Sun Devils Men's Basketball traveled to Footprint Center and handed GCU their first loss of the season in a neutral-site matchup on Thursday night.
Arizona State (3-1, 0-0) held onto the lead for the remainder of the second half and pulled out a hard fought 87-76 win over GCU (2-1, 0-0). ASU recorded 21 points off of turnovers and 30 points off the bench as well to secure Bobby Hurley' 200th win as Head Coach for Arizona State. Arizona State rose to the occasion in another premiere atmosphere, as 13,705 Valley basketball fans were in attendance to watch the in-state rivals do battle.
