The gambler? ASU's Todd Graham explains fourth-down decisions

Todd Graham made it clear following last Saturday’s upset of No. 4 Washington. On a key fourth-down late in the game, with assistants in his ear telling him the Sun Devils should punt, the Arizona State coach summed up his mindset with a simple word.

“Nope.”

After a timeout, ASU converted the fourth and 3 (on a wild play) and closed out the Huskies, knocking off a Top 5 opponent for only the fourth time in school history. The Sun Devils were 3-for-3 on fourth downs during the contest. For the season, they’re 7-of-11.
