The COVID-19 pandemic has provided its fair share of obstacles to the collegiate world over the past year. From college sports to Zoom classes, it seems like everyone was hit with new adversity in one form or another, and the Sun Devil volleyball team is no exception.
The NCAA’s postponement of the volleyball season from fall to spring led to more than just rescheduled games for the Sun Devils: It resulted in two seniors opting out of the season. The two seniors, Andrea Mitrovic and Claire Kovensky, were both vital to the team as outside hitters who passed and had Pac-12 experience.
