ASU freshman forward Taeshon Cherry says he knows when he's going to have a big game because he feels it early in the day. So he wasn't surprised he came up big as the Sun Devils surged past visiting Oregon 78-64 in Pac 12 play Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Cherry had 15 points, not quite a season best, but he hit five of 10 tries from long distance, including a big one that started a 19-0 run that propelled the Sun Devils (13-5, 4-2) past the Ducks (11-7, 2-3) in front of a frenzied crowd of 12,751.
