LOS ANGELES – No. T-11 Sun Devil Water Polo (17-8, 1-5 MPSF) fell to No. 1 USC (25-1, 4-0 MPSF) on Saturday afternoon at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
A flurry of fourth quarter goals almost saw a comeback for the Sun Devils as Quin and Almeda led the charge for ASU. Quin put nine points while Almeda put up eight points, their third time each netting an eight plus point game this season. The match up also pushed both players over the 100 point mark for this season, Almeda now boasting 100 career points.
The postseason begins now for the Maroon and Gold as they will travel back to Los Angeles in two weeks for the MPSF conference tournament.
