TEMPE – For the second consecutive week No. 3/14 Sun Devil Swim and Dive swept the swimming portion of the Big 12 weekly awards announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
Olympic medalist Ilya Kharun won his fifth Big 12 weekly honor of the season by sweeping the 100 fly (44.73) and the 200 fly (1:40.13). In addition he swam a 19.08 50 fly leg in the 200 medley relay which placed first. He currently holds the best time in the country in the 200 fly at 1:38.74.
Graduate Jonathon Adam secured his first career weekly honor after sweeping the backstroke events in the 100 back (46.
