TEMPE – Following their first week of competition in the calendar year, No. 3/14 Sun Devil Swim and Dive garnered four Big 12 weekly swim and dive awards announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
Breaststroker Andy Dobrzanski earns his first career weekly honor after sweeping the breaststroke events against Grand Canyon, winning the 100 breast in 52.92 and the 200 breast in 1:55.30. He swam a 43.97 100 freestyle second leg in the 400 free relay, and a 23.48 50 breast leg in the 200 medley relay that was second.
Olympian Tolu Young garnered his second weekly honor this year by winning the 50 free and being the only swimmer to finish in under 20 seconds with a time of 19.
