TEMPE – Arizona State women's tennis earned two ITA regional honors as true freshman Lauryn John-Baptiste received the honor of Southwest Region Rookie of the Year, and Matthew Langley earned the Assistant Coach of the Year honor.
John-Baptiste took the honor after an impressive debut season in maroon and gold that included two Pac-12 Player of the Week honors and a spot as an alternate for the NCAA Singles Championships.
The England international enjoyed a successful freshman campaign playing on court one for a majority of the season in singles and doubles play with partner Ilze Hattingh.
