TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 10 Arizona State women's water polo team (3-00 opened the Cross-Conference Challenge with a X-X win over the No. 25 Azusa Pacific Cougars (1-4) Friday morning at the Sun Devil Fitness Complex.
After falling behind 3-1 in the first half, Amira Van Buren, Borbala Kekesi and Alison Cameron each scored in the span of less than two minutes to take the 4-3 lead.
Things were tied at 5-0 before the Sun Devils scored seven goals unanswered putting the game away. In total, six different players scored for ASU.
