ATLANTA – No. 7 Sun Devil women's golf opened play on Monday at the prestigious East Lake Cup, as Olivia Mehaffey finished just one stroke from an individual title, in a four-way tie for second.
"Olivia, from top to bottom, had a beautiful round of golf," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "I'm really happy for her. Tomorrow is going to be completely different, so we've got to pick ourselves up a little bit. We're a little bit battered from today, but this team is resilient, and they will come back really fired up to play match play tomorrow.
