FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- The Arizona State volleyball team (6-2) won their second match of the day, a 3-1 (17-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-18) victory over host Northern Arizona Friday evening, to cap off opening day at the 2017 Lumberjack Classic.
With the win, the Sun Devils improve to 6-2 on the 2017 campaign and 3-2 in neutral site matches.
Despite dropping the first set of the match, the Devils managed to regroup led by a balanced offensive attack. Oluoma Okaro continued to build on her big day, leading the way offensively, collecting 19 kills in the night cap after amassing 18 kills in her previous match on the day.
