TEMPE, Ariz. – After earning the Sun Devils a spot in November's National Championship with their first race earlier this month, ASU triathlon looks to continue positive momentum at this weekend's East Regional Qualifier on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The second of four races this season for the inaugural team will take place in Browns Summit, N.C. near Greensboro and is hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Conference (MACTC) Draft-Legal Festival. The women's start time is set for 4:30 pm ET/1:30 pm AZ time.
Competing athletes will start the sprint-distance triathlon with an 800m swim in Lake Townsend followed by a 12.
