OMAHA, NE. – Led by a game-high 23 points from senior forward Savon Goodman, the Arizona State men’s basketball (5-2) won a thriller on the road, defeating Creighton by a score of 79-77. Goodman’s 23-point outing matches his second-highest scoring total as a Sun Devil, and marks the sixth time he has finished with 20+. The Sun Devils dealt a Blue Jays squad who seldom lose at CenturyLink Arena, their first home loss ever when scoring 75 or more.
Recording 21 assists on 31 field goals, Bobby Hurley’s squad benefitted from a balanced scoring attack.
