BERKELEY, Calif. – Behind a pair of 22-point efforts from Remy Martin and Alonzo Verge Jr., the Sun Devil men's basketball team defeated Cal 80-75 on Sunday, giving the program its first five-game winning streak in conference play since February of 2009.
Romello White (10 points, 10 rebounds) had his eighth double-double of the season for the Sun Devils (17-8, 8-4 Pac-12), who currently sit in a three-way tie for second-place in the Pac-12 with No. 17 Oregon (17-6, 8-4) and Arizona (18-7, 8-4). All three teams trail No. 16 Colorado (20-6, 9-4) by half a game.
