Arizona State defeated the Washington Huskies 75-63, tagging UW (19-5; 10-1) with their first conference loss of the season and ending their 12-game winning streak. ASU (16-7; 7-4) shot 61.7 percent, dominated on the boards, and controlled the painted area.
"I think bad teams or just average teams or mediocre teams would go in the tank after a game like that (2/7 vs. Washington State)," said Bobby Hurley. "After we were beaten and not having a lot of time to recover and play a team that has just won 12 in a row, but it shows what we are capable of and the potential there.
