The No. 17 Wildcats (21-6, 11-3 Pac-12) defeated the No. 25 Sun Devils 77-70. The meeting featured the largest crowd at Wells Fargo Arena since 2005 and the first matchup in Tempe as ranked opponents since 1995.
Alonzo Trier drilled a three and the Arizona Wildcats led by 18 with 7:33 left in the first half. Arizona opened shooting 77 percent from the field on 10-of-13 shots.
