HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Following two rounds of competition, No. 4 Arizona State women's golf remains in a solid third place at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, just three strokes out of the lead. Alabama and Duke are now tied for the top spot. ASU matched their team round from Friday, shooting a 288 on Saturday for the second lowest round of the day.
"We had a very solid day considering how cold and windy the weather was," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "We hung in there and finished strong."
Linnea Strom also matched her individual stroke total from day one, shooting a 70 to move into a tie for second, just one stroke out of the lead, while Sophia Zeeb also remains in the top five, currently in fourth place, two strokes out of the lead spot.
