TEMPE – Saturday was all about progression for the Sun Devils as they closed their second home meet of the season with a handful of personal bests and wins at the final day of the ASU Invitational.
"For us, today was about making progress, so the highlight was seeing that progress," director of track and field Greg Kraft said. "It starts with the 4x1. As good as we looked, we kind of stumbled on some of the handoffs, so there's promise there where last year there wasn't much."
ASU got off to a winning start in the first track event of the day when the Sun Devil women's quartet won the 4x100-meter relay.
