FEDERAL WAY, Wash.- Speed was the word for the Sun Devil men on Day 1 as they made history by breaking the NCAA record in the 200 medley relay, followed by a meet record in the 800 free relay.
Jack Dolan, Léon Marchand, Ilya Kharun and Jonny Kulow opened the meet with an NCAA record time of 1:20.55 to win the 200 medley relay as the Sun Devils are back-to-back Pac-12 champions in this event.
Less than an hour later, the 800 free relay of Marchand, Patrick Sammon, Owen McDonald and Julian Hill swam a time of 6:06.
