FLAGSTAFF – Derrick Monroe jumped himself into the Sun Devil record book along with several other Devils at Friday's Lumberjack Team Invitational in Flagstaff.
Monroe won the long jump competition for the second-straight week, this time with a personal best mark of 7.60m/24-11.25 feet. His jump put him at the top of the MPSF, 12th in the NCAA and ninth in school history.
Both Cole Riddle and Matthew Eckles cleared 5.32m/17-5.5 feet to jump to the top of the conference in the pole vault. For 2017 Pac-12 champion Eckles, the clearance was a personal best that put the senior at fourth in Sun Devil history.
