The Arizona State Sun Devils have named former Baylor defensive coordinator Phil Bennett to the same position, according to multiple reports.

Bennett, who has been coaching Division I football since 1978, has served as a defensive coordinator previously at Pittsburgh, Kansas State, TCU, Texas A&M, LSU, Purdue and Iowa State.
There is no previously history between ASU ahead coach Todd Graham and Bennett, and according to Sun Devil Source, the newcomer is expected to install his defensive system.
