LOS ANGELES – A late home run wouldn't be enough as Arizona State dropped its series finale at No. 2 UCLA, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon to complete a three-game sweep by the Bruins.
VanHook's homer sparked a late rally as walked, and singled with one out to bring the tying run to the plate. UCLA (43-4, 18-3 Pac-12) closed out the win with a strikeout and flyout.
Milius had a single in the second inning that was the only hit ASU had until the VanHook homer. Kinch and also drew walks in the game.
Making her first start since April 8 at Utah, allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits in three innings in the circle.
