Sun Devils Drop Hard-Fought Contest at No. 4 Utah, 34-18

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Arizona State University football team put up a gritty effort on the road against a top-five team but came up short in 34-18 loss to No. 4 Utah on Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The ASU special teams accounted for all 18 of ASU’s points on a night where the offense managed just 236 total yards despite holding the Utah offense under 300 yards until its final game-clinching drive with under two minutes remaining in the game.

The Sun Devils held Heisman candidate Devontae Booker largely in check all day prior to his 62-yard touchdown to seal the game with 1:11 remaining.
