TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State opened up its brief two-game homestand with a scoreless draw against Boston U on Friday.
The Sun Devils (1-1-1) were able to control things for the majority of the match, peppering the Terrier (1-3-1) defense with 15 shots. However, a stout defensive effort from both sides ultimately led to the scoreless affair.
The 0-0 scoreline was the program's first since October 12, 2014, when Arizona State battled Washington State to a scoreless tie.
Midfielder Jemma Purfield led the team on Friday with three attempts, one of which was on goal.
