TEMPE, Ariz. – Head coach Sheila McInerney and the Sun Devil Women's Tennis team have announced the addition of Taylah Lawless to the roster, a true freshman from New South Wales, Australia, who is set to join the program in early January.
Lawless, Australia's top-ranked women's player in the 2003 birth class and the country's No. 45 ranked women's player overall, will be available to play in the team's regular season opener on January 15, when the Sun Devils host both UC Davis and Grand Canyon.
"We're expecting her to come in and really be somebody who is going to fight for a spot in the lineup," McInerney said.
