The Arizona State women’s soccer team departed for a 10-day tour of Spain on May 9 as part of an offseason international tour. The trip, which is privately funded, will serve as a one-of-a-kind experience in which the team will learn about culture and international travel, will have the chance to play soccer on an international level and will provide all the players with a unique bonding opportunity.
“This is a tremendous opportunity,” said ASU head coach Kevin Boyd. “You get to do (an international tour) every four years. We are incredibly lucky that we have some very supportive people around us.
