LAS VEGAS – Despite a game-high 20 points from senior guard Gerry Blakes, the Arizona State men’s basketball team was unable to extend its season, falling to Oregon State, 75-66, in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
Junior forward Savon Goodman (14 points), senior center Eric Jacobsen (11 points) and sophomore guard Tra Holder (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Sun Devils (15-17), who shot 36 percent for the game.
Freshman guard Stephen Thompson Jr (13 points) led the Beavers (19-11), who scored more than a third of their points from the charity stripe where they shot 81 percent (26-35).
