BEMIDJI, Minn– Junior goaltender Robert Levin played the best game of his career, making a season-high 42 saves and allowing a season-low two goals, but Sun Devil Hockey was not able to top Bemidji State, falling 2-0.
Both teams skated the first 40 minutes to a 0-0 draw, with neither offense able to beat the other's goalie. The Beavers finally snuck one by Levin at the 5:30 mark, and again at the 8:28 mark. That was all Bemidji State would get, but goalie Michael Bitzer stood tall on the other end, turning away every Sun Devil shot.
