TEMPE, Ariz. – For the first time in program history, Sun Devil Hockey cracked the top-20 in this week's USCHO Coaches' Poll at No. 18 after the best start in program history.
After being the first team out of the top-20 last week with 85 points, head coach Greg Powers and the Sun Devils (9-3-0) swept Michigan State, who was also receiving votes last week, and have won five of their last six games. This all coming a week after the biggest victory in program history, upsetting then-No. 6 Penn State in overtime, 4-3, in State College on Nov.
