POTSDAM, N.Y.– Arizona State took a 2-1 lead in the second period but was unable to hold the lead, allowing Clarkson to tie the game before scoring the eventual winner midway through the third period.
The Golden Knights rode a two-goal effort from Sam Vigneault (who also had an assist), as well as two points each from Christian Powers and A.J. Fossen. Clarkson improves to 6-4-2 on the season, while the Sun Devils fall to 5-7.
In net, Ryland Pashovitz got the call for the seventh-consecutive road contest, making 36 saves. Ryan Belonger opened the scoring for Arizona State on a one-timer off a behind-the-net feed form Liam Norris.
