Sal Bando Receives Omaha Immortality
Sun Devil Baseball legend Sal Bando recently became the 13th member of the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame when the 2015 class was inducted on July 2 during a ceremony at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb.
Bando was a standout third baseman for the Sun Devils from 1964-65 and was named the Most Outstanding Player at the 1965 College World Series after he helped lead ASU to the first national championship in school history.
