Spencer Torkelson hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning Sunday, lifting No. 5 Arizona State baseball to an 11-8 victory at USC.
Torkelson’s eighth homer was the key hit in a five-run inning as ASU erased a 3-2 deficit. Torkelson finished with four RBIs and Alika Williams three.
The Sun Devils broke a three-game losing streak, salvaging one game in the USC series and avoiding a 0-4 week. They improve to 26-4, 9-3 Pac-12.
USC drops to 12-18, 5-7.
ASU starting pitcher RJ Dabovich left in the third inning with an apparent shoulder injury.
