TEMPE – With consistent rain in the forecast for Cathedral City, Calif., this weekend, Sun Devil Softball has opted out of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and will stay home to host Iowa State in a three-game series at Farrington Softball Stadium.
Arizona State and Iowa State will play a single game at 6 p.m. MST on Friday, February 24, and then a doubleheader on Saturday, February 25, starting at 2 p.m. MST.
The Sun Devils bring an 8-2 overall record and a four-game winning streak into the week. They are 4-1 at Farrington Stadium this season and 32-7 at home over the past two seasons.
