TEMPE – Sun Devil Softball dropped the second game of its three-game series in a back-and-fourth battle with Oregon State, 10-5, Saturday night at Farrington Stadium.
Tanya Windle continued her hot bat, going 2-for-4 on the night with a double, and Samantha Swan returned to the lineup with a 2-for-3 night that included her fourth home run of the season.
Arizona State (16-11, 1-4 Pac-12) struck first with Swan's home run to straight-away center to take a 1-0 lead after two innings of play. After a scoreless third, Oregon State (14-14, 3-2 Pac-12) hit a pair of two-run home runs in the fourth inning to open a 4-1 lead.
