SAN FRANCISCO – The Arizona State men's basketball squad (5-2) took down the San Francisco Dons in a close 71-67 victory Tuesday night. ASU held the Dons without a field goal in the final 3:30 as the Dons finished 0-of-8 and 2-of-12 from the field down the stretch.
put up his first double-double of the year, tying a team-high 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. White only missed one field goal in the game, going 6-for-7 on the night. The game was tight throughout the second half with 12 lead changes.
"Remy (Martin) didn't have his usual game, and we were able to weather the storm," Sun Devil head coach Bobby Hurley said.
