TEMPE - Justin Robinson is officially the king of the 400m! The second-year Sun Devil ran a 45.40 in the 400m final of the USATF Indoor Championships, claiming gold and shattering his own Arizona State program record he set less than 24 hours earlier. He now ranks No. 3 in the world in the event.
Robinson had a weekend to remember. Competing at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Robinson opened the weekend with a 45.48 Friday afternoon. That time broke the ASU program record by 0.08 (Jason Barton, 45.56, 2004) and put Robinson second overall in round one.
