CORVALLIS, Ore. — Arizona State senior Rob Edwards isn't used to slumps. He is regarded as perhaps the Sun Devils best shooter, particularly from long distance, although it hasn't shown in recent games.
But Edwards snapped out of his funk in a big way, scoring 18 points and going 4-for-5 from long distance to lead ASU to an 82-76 victory over Oregon State in Pac-12 play Thursday night at Gill Coliseum.
Just how bad was Edwards' slump? He had scored just 10 points in the previous five games combined, going 1-for-18 from deep in that stretch.
