Arizona State offensive coordinator Billy Napier has an 'imminent' deal to become the head coach at Louisiana-Lafayette, according to several reports Friday morning.
Bruce Feldman, a noted college football writer, reported Friday that a deal was in place for Napier to take the job in Louisiana.
Sun Devil Source reported Thursday night that Napier has been offered the job.
According to the Louisiana Daily Advertiser, Napier is a candidate along with Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey and Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry. Lindsey was ASU offensive coordinator in 2016.
