Plans have not changed to delay groundbreaking in November on ASU's $120-million multi-purpose arena that will be home to hockey and other sports, ASU Vice President for Athletics Ray Anderson said Friday.
He also said a decision has not been made on whether the football team will train for close to a week like normal at Camp Tontozona outside Payson.
"We've moving full speed ahead," on the arena, to be located just north of the Packard Drive parking garage, Anderson said. "We've advanced far enough on it in terms of the design and soil testing. It's a vital enough project for not just athletics but the university and community as a whole that it should be full speed ahead.
