TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State University and Sun Devil Athletics have begun a series of capital improvements to Phoenix Municipal Stadium, highlighted by a state-of-the-art batting facility.
Construction on the $4.8M project, funded entirely through philanthropic support via the Sun Devil Club, began on June 6 with a completion date set for early November.
"This project is a great development for the Sun Devil Baseball program and Phoenix Municipal Stadium," Ray Anderson, Vice President for University Athletics, said. "One of the top collegiate baseball stadiums in the nation is set to get even better – for our current and future student-athletes, our fans, and our community.
